Sound Baths

I am a big fan of binaural beats for my 15-minute naps and background ambience to get the vibration going higher. So it’s no surprise that I’m trying out sound baths… Yes, you bathe yourself in sound during one of the sessions, it is phenomenal!

One of the leaders I had the pleasure of taking from is the beautiful Rosie, she is amazing and held this sound journey right at the beach. It was absolute heaven! I was transported into another world and left feeling refreshed + rejuvenated for a few days on~

Femininity

“A woman’s strength is in her weakness” – that’s a popular Russian saying. Or here’s another one “in marriage, a husband is the head and a wife the neck” similar to “happy wife, happy life”. But the difference is that in Russia there’s still more respect and care towards a woman, and an overall understanding that men are NOT equal to women (in more ways than one). For example, women are physically and mentally more emotional and think differently than men, that is proven and hard-wired into our brains through evolutionary psychology (look it up). A man has the basic, evolutionary need to procreate and literally “spread his seeds” (I hate that phrase by the way), while a woman’s basic need is to choose a partner who would stick by her and support her through childbirth and beyond. So, subconsciously, these ‘basic instincts’ drive most of our behavior.

Unfortunately, through all of the mainstream media brainwashing, sexualization that’s almost everywhere, and the vulgar depictions of women (including by their own doing, e.g. WAP), we’ve lost touch of our basic reasons for existence… maybe that’s going too far, but it all boils down to that point anyway.

So, instead of celebrating the first pregnant woman to fly a military jet (although that is great progress and I sincerely applaud it), we should be celebrating something else… Like two to three years of paid vacation for women who become pregnant? Or three days off work and/or lower working hours when we have our ‘moon cycles’?

To be continued…
